Information is collected by us when you register as a customer, and also at the time of your order. This information is not disclosed to any third party and is stored safely and securely. We understand that we have a responsibility to protect the privacy of this information from misuse, loss, unauthorised modification or disclosure. Credit card information that you provide to us by phone is entered directly into the secure payment gateway and is not retained by us. Online order payments are processed directly via the eWay secure payment gateway and/or PayPal, with those details not being visible to us or saved by us. Our servers are managed and highly secured and the server environment is formally PCI Certified. On order processing pages we use a 1024-bit certificate which provides maximum security for your transaction.
We will take all reasonable and legally-required precautions to keep the details of your order and payment secure, but, unless we are negligent, we cannot be held liable for any losses caused as a result of unauthorised access to information provided by you.
We will never transmit your credit card number via email to anybody, including yourself, and urge you to never do so either – and we will never, ever, ask you to email or text us your card number. If you provide your credit card details directly to us (eg by phone), we will obliterate those details as soon as they have been actioned.
If you contact us in relation to your order, we may request you to provide us with information that confirms your identity before we can discuss details of your order with you.
Phone / mobile number
We do ask you to provide us with your phone number (preferably mobile number) when you order. This is requested ONLY for us to include on your delivery package to assist the delivery person to contact you if there is a delivery problem, or for us to call you if there is a specific query about your order. We may also use your mobile phone number to send you a SMS text message about your order status. We will only use this number in connection with an order you have placed; we will never use it for marketing purposes or provide it to anybody else for marketing purposes.
Emails
We do ask you to provide us with a valid email address when you order. You can expect to receive several emails from us in relation to your order progress; these are necessary to allow your order to proceed through our system. Your email address will never be provided by us to anybody else. It may very occasionally be used only by us for emailed newsletters, special offers or other email – however these will always provide you with an immediate “Unsubscribe” option from any future emails of this kind.
If you wish to cancel any further emails that you have previously given us permission to send, you can do so at any time via the “Contact” message facility on this website.
