Terms and conditions

We are Josalex Pty Ltd trading as Wireless World ABN 58 118 685 724 (“Wireless World”, “us”, “we”). These Terms and Conditions are applicable every time you access our website at wirelessworld.au or wirelessworld.com.au and/or order goods from us. Headings are in alphabetical order.

Availability of stock

Where an item is marked ‘In stock’ then it is in stock and available for shipping. However we acknowledge that occasionally the ‘In stock’ status may be incorrect if we receive a number of orders at one time, especially if they are phone orders that may not automatically update our website. Stock availability estimates on our website and order confirmations, and in answer to phone or email enquiries, are as accurate as possible and generally reliable. However they can be affected by many factors, especially unforeseen manufacturing delays, but also such factors as orders simultaneously being placed for the same item by different customers, incorrect stock counts, quality checks showing that item is unfit for shipping, etc. Thus we offer these stock availability estimates in good faith but we cannot be held responsible should estimated and actual times and availability vary. We endeavour to keep ongoing stock of all of the most popular items that we sell. However, because some of our items are subject to low-volume orders, appearance on our website may mean that they are available in our suppliers’ warehouses or made to order but may not necessarily be in our own warehouse.

Note that cradles designed for specific phone models are very often made to order by the manufacturer as there are many different possible configurations, so it may take a few days before your order is shipped.  Status for these items shows as “Available”.


If you want to cancel an order, please notify us via email with the words “Cancel order” in the subject heading (a text message to 0491 607 074 is also OK, but it needs to be followed up by an email for us to act on it if a refund is involved). There is no charge to cancel an order up until the time that we ship it unless it has “special order” or “firm order only” status. Wireless World will refund in full any order (or portion thereof) that is cancelled, retracted or changed before the order is processed for shipping (except if it is an item noted as “special order item” or “firm order only” for which you have agreed by ordering that cancellation cannot occur because we have already committed resources).  If you have requested that an order be cancelled, you cannot assume that cancellation has occurred until you receive a cancellation confirmation email reply from us, and we will not be liable for any costs arising from our shipping your order if the cancellation request has not been acknowledged.


Wireless World uses a variety of delivery methods, using the most efficient means available. We aim to ship stocked items within 48 hours of receiving the order (or quicker depending on our order volume). We ship from Melbourne (mostly) or Sydney or Brisbane (sometimes), and we never ship from overseas. In most cases, we use Australia Post to residential and business addresses and PO Boxes. Couriers – when specified – are engaged via Sendle. Whilst we make every effort to have orders delivered in the timeframe we estimate, we cannot guarantee delivery on a specific day or accept liability for deliveries made outside this timeframe. We also cannot accept liability for out of pocket expenses or other costs incurred due to failed or delayed deliveries.

All items are subject to stock availability.

To expedite delivery, we sometimes have orders shipped to our customers directly from the manufacturer or wholesaler. In these cases we notify our customer prior to the order being shipped.

If you have any special instructions for delivery you can request us to instruct the carrier accordingly, although we cannot ensure that the instructions will always be noted and/or followed throughout the delivery chain.

Our system automatically sends a “Shipped Order” email to your nominated email address when we send out your order. If your order fails to arrive within 7 days of dispatch, we need to be notified so that we can investigate with the courier or Australia Post. Although we will use all best efforts, we cannot guarantee tracking of late deliveries beyond 7 days from the date of dispatch.

Where an incorrect, incomplete or unclear address has been given to us with the order, or the delivery is unable to be made due to unavailability of the recipient, or if you ask for the item to be redirected after we dispatch it, we will need to charge for any extra delivery costs incurred. We are not responsible if an item goes missing due to changes in delivery instructions after the item has been shipped, or if you have given us an incorrect address and the item has been delivered to that incorrect address. If you nominate a business address, it is your responsibility to provide the name of the business as part of your delivery address. Any returned goods due to the omission of a business name will be deemed to be an incorrect or incomplete delivery address.  Carriers often charge an additonal fee if there is nobody present to receive the delivery and they have to return another time or take it to the post office for your colllection.  We will need to pass that cost along to you. If your delivery address is not always an attended location then please ask us mark the package “OK to leave package if nobody present” – note that the package is now at your entire responsibility once it has been left.

If your package has been delivered, and recorded by the courier’s or Australia Post’s tracking as having been delivered, with a correct address nominated by you, then our delivery responsibility has been completed.

We can deliver via Australia Post to a post office box or Parcel Locker, but may request additional physical address details from you, for order verification.

Installation of equipment

If equipment purchased from us requires installation, it must be carried out by a suitably qualified professional technician or tradesperson and must accord to any instructions included with the equipment. We cannot be held responsible for any costs associated with the installation or subsequent removal of equipment, or damage caused during installation, whether that installation has been arranged by us, by you or by a third party.

Invoicing and GST

GST is included in all prices shown in Australian dollars, and an Australian tax invoice is issued with all orders. Our ABN is 58 118 685 724. Orders shipped to New Zealand do not include either Australian or New Zealand GST.

For customers departing Australia within 30 days from invoice, the GST component of your purchase valued at over $300 may be reimbursed at the point of your departure (eg airport) under the Tourist Refund Scheme – you just have to show your item and the Wireless World tax invoice.


We are not liable to you or any related party, whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise, for any business or personal loss including loss of profits (whether direct or indirect), data, revenue, bank or credit provider interest or charges, employment, contract, reputation, goodwill, convenience, equipment/device/machinery/vehicle functionality, travel arrangements, third party claims or for any other incidental or consequential loss, personal injury or death that you may suffer directly or indirectly as a result of the ordering, purchase, carriage, delivery, non-delivery, late delivery or use of goods and/or services from us.

You understand and agree that your use of Wireless World is entirely at your own risk and that our products and services are provided “As Is” and “As Available”. Wireless World does not make any express or implied warranties, endorsements or representations whatsoever as to the operation of the Wireless World website, information, content, materials, products or services (other than as required by applicable consumer and trade practices legislation). 

Wireless World makes no endorsements, representations or warranties about any other website which you may access through this website. 


Credit cards accepted are Visa, MasterCard and American Express, and NO SURCHARGE is applied unless specifically agreed with you prior to ordering. Note that if payment is made via credit card, your card is charged immediately, regardless of whether or when stock is available. Online credit card payments are processed externally to our website via a secure gateway operated by eWAY, in accordance with international PCI-DSS standards. We reserve the right to decline credit card payments (and/or request an alternative method of payment) at our discretion. If the card payment is declined by your issuer due to lack of funds available, we cannot hold goods against your order if there are other customers for the same goods who have available funds. 

We also accept payment by EFT (bank transfer) into our bank account – your order will not be processed until the payment is cleared to our account. Note that an EFT order is not confirmed as accepted by us until payment has been received and cleared.

Payment via the PayPal third-party secure system is also accepted. Note that if payment is made via PayPal, your account is charged immediately by the PayPal organisation, regardless of whether or when stock is available. If you cancel or change your order and a refund is required, note that PayPal procedures may delay this longer than our normal service. Also note that any commission charged by PayPal to you in conjunction with placing an order is not refundable.

When payment by any method is made and cleared, your order is treated as an offer from you to purchase, and will become a contract of sale when by way of shipping your order we accept your offer to purchase.


Because of the dynamic nature of technology and markets (e.g. exchange rate variations, technology upgrades and other variables beyond our control), prices, versions, product details and availability are subject to change on a continual basis without prior notice. Prices can and do change from day to day; if a price at the time of ordering is higher than a previously-shown price then the price at the time of ordering is the one that applies.

Whilst we endeavour to ensure the prices on our website are as accurate as possible, we reserve the right to change a price for ordered goods in exceptional circumstances. If a price for an ordered item is corrected due to exceptional circumstances, customers will be informed of the change before payment is processed and offered the opportunity to cancel or change the order.

Product descriptions

Descriptions and specifications of products shown on our website are taken directly from information supplied by manufacturers and/or their agents. Products are supplied as named and described. Where a product description is accompanied by an illustration of the packaging or product itself, that illustration is for illustrative purposes only and may not look absolutely identical to the product to be supplied; if the exact appearance of the product or packaging is essential to be identical then you should make that clear to us in writing at the time of order.

Statutory rights and limitations

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia and any disputes will be decided only by the courts of Australia. These terms and conditions govern the entire trading relationship between you and ourselves and will remain in force for the duration of our trading relationship. We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions from time to time and any such changes will be communicated in this section on our website.

If any provision of these terms and conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the invalidity or unenforceability of such provision shall not affect the other provisions of these terms and conditions.

We may assign or transfer any of our rights or sub-contract any of our obligations under these terms and conditions to any third party. You may not assign or transfer any of your rights or sub-contract any of your obligations under these terms and conditions except with our specific permission in writing.

Any unauthorised use of material on this website is strictly prohibited. All intellectual property rights (including use of our trade marks) shall be solely owned by us. You are permitted only to use material on this website as expressly authorised by us or our licensors, and no content may be copied or reproduced on any other website without our authorisation. The content may not be copied, digitally altered, modified, varied, enhanced, reproduced, licensed, rented, leased, loaned, sold or exploited in any way without the copyright owner’s express written permission. Nothing contained on this website is intended to grant any express or implied right to you to use or exploit any patent, copyright, trademark or trade-secret information.

We reserve the right to decline any order for any reason. 

Warranty and Returns

Warranty and returns operate according to the comprehensive policy published on this website entitled Warranty and Returns which together form part of these terms and conditions.

The above terms and conditions (errors and omissions excepted) cannot and do not override your statutory rights as a consumer, and they supersede all previous terms and conditions, representations, undertakings and agreements.
