This 4G/5G-capable bullbar/roobar mount antenna offers the highest possible performance levels for 4G and 5G networks including LTE 700MHz networks and the new 5G LTE band (3400-3800 MHz) with true multi-band coverage, while still being both robust and a manageable size. The Q-Fit removable whip system allows the fast and simple removal of the whip antenna when entering low height areas such as car parks and garages and also when using car washes or for antenna security. The antenna is extremely robust in design and offers the ultimate in performance stability for use in fringe areas or rural locations.
With high gain and consistent performance across the 4G LTE bands (698-960 MHz, 1710-2170 MHz, and 2300-2700 MHz) and the newer 5G LTE band (3400-3800 MHz), this antenna is ideal for use in fringe areas and rural applications. The CDQ8199 provides an impressive 8.5dBi gain on newer 4G and 5G bands, as well as 4.5dBi gain on earlier 4G bands. Note this antenna does not provide MIMO; if you require the best possible Internet performance you should use two antennas, separated by around 300mm.
The secret to its strong performance lies in the use of two unique PCB radiators. These meander circuits are coupled together to deliver extraordinary consistency in gain and pattern, and coverage across multiple networks – ideal because network operators often switch calls between bands.
Included with this antenna is 5m low-loss cable terminated with an attached SMA connector.
This antenna requires a Pulse FME (F) to SMA (F) adaptor to connect to the Strike Alpha Smartphone Holders with Antenna Coupler or any of the the Bury or Carcomm cradles that have an antenna coupler.
This antenna requires a SMA Female to TS9 Male plug adaptor to connect to many mobile broadband devices – check with us if you are not sure.

16mm diameter mount hole required. We recommend solid mounting to a bullbar/roobar or chassis frame. Although not recommended for the CDQ8199 unless stationary, these heavy-duty mounting brackets are also available if required: L-shaped mounting bracket ($13.30) or Z-shaped mounting bracket ($15) or Mount Bracket for Mirror Bullbar or Roof rack ($21).
NB This antenna is for fixed mount or on a bullbar or frame point on the vehicle or structure. It is not a glass mount antenna.
